People are under incapacitating conditions that most if not all have acquired the art and skill of change and defiance. There is no hope of surviving in a harsh environment if people do not learn the wisdom of replacing skins and standards for the betterment of future children. Previous research has proven that gender inequalities do corrupt the present workplace. The workplace is not free from the limitations and boundaries set by culture and beliefs. Women in the business sector are delegated tasks and roles depending on their physical and emotional characteristics. People assume that the things one can do are merely reflections of the gender one has. Roles are set the time one is born into the world. The kind of gender biology assigns is the role one is to play. Gender assumptions in the workplace limit chances and opportunities for women even in the community and in the business sector. Performance is greatly affected by the assumed talent and skills of people. Society has seemed to weigh people based on gender. The chances of getting a raise or promotion for instance are not entirely dependent on one's skills but unfairly and unwittingly on gender. The workplace or any place for that matter should be above gender and roles. People should be judged based on what they do and not on what they are assumed to do. Talent, skills, and knowledge do not necessary come with gender.

Movements have come and gone to change the existing bias society and culture have towards women. Social movements and legislations have attempted, some successfully and some disastrously, to bring change to the present dictate o beliefs and assumptions. Affirmative actions, Feminism, and the like have all assisted in the struggle to improve gender relations. Gender, sometimes, makes people think they are more or less than what they in reality and in actuality are. Gender sets rules and standards in a way that strengthen or weaken the totality of individuals. Gender inequalities should be abolished so that men and women may both live better lives.

The role of women in society today is said to have changed a lot since the brave few fought for rights and broke molds. Women are courageously aiming and working hard to get what they deserve in the family and in the workforce. However slowly, women are doing what they can to bring to light the many problems and issues men and the other limited many have been delivering them. Women voice out their opinions now louder than ever. If sociologists believe that gender is but a social construct, then it could be broken in time. There is hope for the betterment of the role of women in the society today. Times have changed and history has proven that life and people can be altered.
